President's Message

It is an honour and very humbling for me, to represent you as President of the Rotary club of Burlington. It’s going to be a wonderful year for all of us! I can feel the positive energy building ever since the resounding success of our recent fundraiser Lobster Fest and Peter French’s esteemed District award.

But please bear in mind... I am not here as President to establish direction for our club. NO – that must begin with each and every one of you.

In the months to come, we will be reviewing the club vision and strategic planning goals which began in the day of President Joe, continued through President Bill’s year, and now, are a part of mine.

In the words of Dr. Seuss:

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re not on your own, but you know what you know. And you are the guys who’ll decide where to go!”

It is my hope, and my expectation, that each and every member will contribute towards achieving our club goals.

This year’s theme is “Making A Difference”. And I know that TOGETHER, we all will!
